Richard Collier is paralyzed and leg amputated
September 30, 2008 by admin
Another senseless crime plagues our young and promising future athletes. The Jacksonville Jaguars offensive tackle Richard Collier, shot while sitting in a car outside an apartment complex earlier this month, is paralyzed below the waist and his left leg was amputated, his doctor said Monday.
His attack was the third NFL player shot in the past 18 months. Washington Redskins star Sean Taylor was fatally shot during what police said was a botched burglary attempt at his Miami-area home in November. Broncos cornerback Darrent Williams was killed when his rented limousine was sprayed with bullets minutes after leaving a New Year’s party at a club in 2007.
Do you know what’s going on? Do you know what these criminals (most of them gang bangers wannabe’s) are doing. What is our world going through? Is it jealousy, is it because they’re associating themselves with the wrong cround? Who’s comitting these crimes? Why so many of our young athletes dying before their time?
One may say it’s the big money hungry executive that are the cause or one may say that it’s the parent (s). These young men are taken from their schools, their homes and most importanly the streets and given these high salaries or promises without a thorough education on life. These young men, most of them are from the streets and most may say that you cannot take the streets out of them.
But still people, they don’t deserve to die or being paralyzed. They have their entire life in front of them and now all that is being taken away by thugs with nothing else to do but destroy our future generation.

That’s sad and messed up. No matter what they were doing on their free time, he doesn’t deserve what happened to him. I hope they fing whoever is responsible for this.
