Prince says no to Guitar Hero

Prince, the purple one has once again snub a major company because he can. Prince unlike most artist, calls his own shot. He doesn’t have to do anything he doesn’t want to and he does whatever he wants.
Prince was just asked by the folks at Guitar Hero to allow them to use his music in their video games for a hefty chunk of money, but the purple one flatly says “NO”.
On the Tavis Smiley show, Prince says that “I just think it’s more important that kids learn how to actually play the guitar,” Prince said.
“It’s a tough instrument – it’s not easy. It took me a long time, and it was frustrating at first. And you just have to stick with it, and it’s cool for people who don’t have time to learn the chords or ain’t interested in it. But to play music is one of the greatest things.“

Prince has a point, people should learn to play the guitar instead of just play video games but the video game can provide a door into something more. I’ve found that what guitar hero has taught me was keeping up with the song and even when I mess up to continue.

That’ sthe dumbest thing I ever heard. African-American’s are all ready under served in the guitar hero games. Maybe just maybe he would inspire a young African-American to his music and the guitar
