Military commanders have cold feet with Obama as the commander in chief

A poll of active-duty military associates has recently shown that an overwhelming majority of service members are indecisive and even pessimistic about the abilities of President Barack Obama as the commander in chief of the armed forces. Sixty percent of military respondents said what they felt about President Barack Obama, citing his lack of military experience as a basis for their doubts. A Marine lance corporal spoke for the beliefs of the majority of military respondents.
But, there was another aspect that contributed to skepticism about President Barack Obama among the ranks of the military members of the nation, according to the results of the poll. The plan of Barack Obama for withdrawing from Iraq within 16 months of taking office was extremely unpopular.
Nearly half of the military respondents said that they did not support Obama’s commanding plan. Most military respondents said that they favored the point frame set out in the recently agreed to Status of Forces Agreement between the US and Iraqi governments. That concurrence calls for a withdrawal of US warfare forces by the end of 2011.
The military troops expressed concern that Obama’s quicker and more arbitrary and subjective time frame could jeopardize hard-won security gains in Iraq. One military associate said that President Obama should leave well enough alone in Iraq.
