King of Pop Michael Jackson dies

I know this is old news but we needed a couple of days just to compose ourselves once we heard of this tragedy. Besides, everyone else was racing to report it. Now after a couple of days, all they’re talking about are mostly the negatives.

Michael Jackson met more than bad news to most of us that grew up with him. He reshaped our generation whether you wanted him to or not. I remember exactly what I was doing the night when MTV played Thriller. I remember exactly what I was doing when I saw his video with Nomi Campbell and our draw dropped when we saw her underwear and fell off the chair when Michael rubbed her body from top to bottom.

Everyone of Michael’s video meant something to us, every one of them had a message and every one of them kept us thinking and singing along.
