Haitian migrants loss at sea

Half of the boats that leave the islands heading for a so-called better life in the US end up capsizing in the ocean, but desperation will make you try anything to survive.
Some of these boats are made by hand by local folks looking for a quick buck. They are not Engineer and they are not knowledgeable enough to see their dangers.
The ones that are built professionally are not made to be overloaded and travel with people in rough seas, but greed is enough to promise folks the world.
These poor people from this poor country beg, borrow and steal just for a chance to get on these boats and their chances of making it is only 50%.
