Al Sharpton angry over New York Post Racist Monkey Comics

I usually don’t pay much attention to what Al Sharpton says most of the times, but this time he’s right on target. Racist New York Times decided to print a cartoon by cartoonist Sean Delonas depicting 2 cops shooting a Chimpanzee and saying “Now they will have to find someone else to write the stimulus bill.”
The cartoon is making a reference to a cops killing a Chimpanzee belonging to a woman this week after he attacks another woman. It is clear and obvious that they’re pointing at President Obama’s signing the stimulus package. They are the same people who will gladly stick their handout to be bailed out.
Here’s Sharpton’s statement:
“The cartoon in today’s New York Post is troubling at best given the historic racist attacks of African-Americans as being synonymous with monkeys. One has to question whether the cartoonist is making a less than casual reference to this when in the cartoon they have police saying after shooting a chimpanzee that “Now they will have to find someone else to write the stimulus bill.” Being that the stimulus bill has been the first legislative victory of President Barack Obama (the first African American president) and has become synonymous with him it is not a reach to wonder are they inferring that a monkey wrote the last bill?”

I really did not understand why Sharpton (or anyone else) was upset about the story that appeared in the New York Post. First, because Obama did not write the stimulus bill, Pelosi did. And second, Obama believes in evolution.
