African American history if you heard it from non-interested parties you would think that it doesn’t exist. Without it we wouldn’t exist. I read an article the other day talking about the great discovery and inventions and nowhere did it mention African-Americans. Our contributions have been so detrimental to the lives of all Americans; it’s rarely mentioned in the media and in school.

We have been responsible for a number of notable inventions throughout history, introducing innovations in medicine, technology, food, transportation, cosmetics and household products, among other areas.

This list below represents some of the most important discovery by African-Americans.
